HEY IM NADINE! :D

Im a 16 year old from London, I have an un-controlable obsession with Mika!!, he is my idol he's living the dream I think, to be able to indulge himself in his own fantasy world with out any interferance. He has been ony of my main influences to reach for what I want dispite obsticals.

I would love to become an illustrator and writer I think of ideas every day, something that is in a way innate to me. The first chance I got to complete any of my ideas was when I adapted lyrics from the Beatles to create my own story and illustrations.This was when I became more aware of my own individuality in my artwork and more confident to express it.

I think my style of work is quite versatile, as I enjoy to create fairytail type scenes whilst still being capable of design work and fine art. I like to create quirky and humourous work, you wont find me painting to offend and I'd like to think that I'm not pretencious. I have been brought up in a very influentual and inspiring environment, and I am very setimental so this is probably why I am described as 'conciencious' when I work. I collect many things and have a visual memory, so when I have a certain project I make links to obscure things. I like to reconnect forgotten things and make them shine again.

I spent a week at work experience in a top illustration and motion studio in London, where i was in awe by the atmosphere and the production of their work. I designed and illustrated my school yearbook, which was my first exerience of completing illustrations for sale. Well lets just say that I didn't get as much freedom as i hoped for...
