MOYTOY took part in PICTOPIA - 3rd Pictoplasma Conference. Our artist community presented exhibition "Phobia" for Pictoplasma Character Walk. Yes, that was great and awesome! We always had a dream to take part in this festival. And the dream came true. An idea was to present characters who are suffering or enjoying their phobias. It was suggested for MOYTOY artists community to ask their characters what are they afraid of. We got nice illustrations, toys, video, sculptures, interesting interpretations from artists who live in Lithuania, Latvia, USA, Portugal, Mexico, Taiwan, Ukraina, Russia ... For some days characters lived in Berlin ( 04.17 – 04.22 ) at Talka. That's a nice boutique which is run by great guys from Riga and from now you can also find MOYTOY creatures there. Let's return to exhibition. MOYTOY is sure that it was a challenge to find out characters' phobias and for characters to be „naked“ in front of everyone with their fears. We must thank them!
It wasn’t our plan, but we did a little phobia research and our results are .... The most frequent phobias among artist are fears of colours, rain, snow and eyes:) Thank you all very much one more time! Pictoplasma organization for trust and help, Talka couple for letting us in, all participants for crazy phobias.\
